Amritanandamayi currently says something that we consider to be one more lie :
"I never asked any one to serve me"
In order to see that she lies, we just need to refer to what she declares in her teachings. She claims to be a guru. What does it implies? According to her own words, obedience is necessary :
"obedience to the Guru elevates the disciple"
"The disciple shows reverence to the Guru and obeys him"
"Obedience to the Guru is not slavery"To obtains blind obedience from her followers, she claims that she is not a human being. Her shape of flesh holds a high concept :
"When we bow down before the Guru, we are not bowing to that individual, but to the ideal in Him"For us to fulfill all orders without asking any question, she advices us to not think too much, our mind is harmfull :
"The guru knows that the disciple’s ego-driven impulses will cause danger to him and to others"She prompts us to always obey her without thinking about ourselves or trying to fullfill any of our own wishes. She knows better than us what is good for us :
"When our sense of ‘I’ and ‘mine’ are about to destroy us, we are saved by following the Satguru’s advice"
She goes so far as to say that denying what she asks for is worse than a sin :
"the Guru is higher than God"
"If the Guru wants, he can remove the effect of God’s displeasure. But even God cannot remove the sin that comes from dishonouring the Guru"
She has always asked for blind obedience, pretending that it was for our own good. Her orders include selfless service for her charitable projects. They include working for free in paying institutions, like her schools or AmritaTV. They also include serving her and worshipping her like a goddess. Her followers are supposed to recite her 108 names every morning, whatever their religion. During her programs in western countries, the program's coordinators must provide her with dozens of trained darshan monitors and various assistants, hundreds of prasad givers and stargazers, dozens of arati and pada puja worshippers, dozens of flower assistants... She needs a big staff to stage her darshan. Anyone doing a mistake is violently scolded or expelled from the teams.
She has always asked for blind obedience. Now that she is in trouble, she says that she never asked anyone to serve her. Her hypocrisy is gradually showing.
